Just "watched" the video with Kate Westall sounds amazing, and worth the wait, when will there be a "new" album, some standards and some more Yolanda originals?

Oops I think that link is broken.  Apologies try this one.

Tokyo Sunset Ciyo and Yolanda or if that doesn't work

The Hideaway has uploaded the Tokyo sunset presentation recently.  It will get you toe tapping.  I particularly enjoyed Ciyo's guitar work.

Tokyo Sunset Ciyo and Yolanda

Oh, and dare I say it.  For those that have seen the previous uploaded youtube version, this has more decorum. <ducking> :-)

Here's my report on the Hideaway Jazz Reggae Meltdown concert featuring Yolanda and Ciyo, for those unable to make it.

You missed a great show.

One word sums it up rather well. Hilarious.

Two things I've noticed when I've attended Yolanda's concerts.

a) It Rains. (Please don't name your next album after some seasonal weather variation, otherwise I might find myself stuck in some snow drift, lol)

b) Even more bizarre things happen during the concert.

At the last concert at the Harrow arts centre, a member of the audience wanted to know more about this 'John' character. At the Hideaway we were treated to Mr 'Saturday Night Fever' near the stage.  At one point I nearly fell off my bar stool with laughter.  Luckily no one near the stage area could hear me because of a glass partition.  How Yolanda managed to keep her composure, I do not know. Although at one point Yolanda almost caved in, laughed, and continued on with the song.  In fact someone has uploaded two very good video segments on youtube of the Hideaway event. And of course Mr 'worlds greatest dancer' appears in one of them, just over halfway through. Actually I spoke to him later, he said he was just reacting to the audience.  Good on him, he was enjoying himself and he was very entertaining.

The audience was terrific, bursting into song without any prompting, really getting into the music that Yolanda and Ciyo were presenting.

As for me, well I missed the last train, but I did manage to get home that night, but that's another Story, excuse the pun.

Looking forward to the Hideaway gig on April 13.  That's providing I don't get lost trying to negotiate my way across London. LOL

I enjoyed the show at MK stables, that I'm coming back for seconds. lol.   Be there for the Harrow Art Centre Show.

Another excellent performance last night from YB and the band, was wonderful to see you again afterwards and have a quick chat. Look forward to many more gigs, especially if we can get you to play the Bedford Corn Exchange "nudge nudge wink wink"

Fab night at the gulbenkian; you and the band were on top form.  Look forward to seeing you at Pizza Express next year.

Thank you YolanDa (and your brilliant band) for a wonderful concert in The Gulbenkian, Canterbury last night. What a pity there weren't more people  to share this amazing experience that you and your band gave us.  I'm still buzzing.

Where are the biographies of the band that played with YB at RAH? I can't find them on this site.

At last I have a ticket for a concert.

18th April 2013 at the West Cliff Theatre, Clacton which is a small 500+ mile round trip from Swansea, South Wales. Sometimes we have to put ourselves out to see and hear our favourite performers. The people of Clacton are very lucky, in the same week, at the same theatre Clare Teal is on stage. By the way, if anyone is going to the gig, I will be the grey haired balding old man in Row F, Seat 13. Roll on 2013.

See you soon YolanDa.

Hi YolanDa I loved your workshop and to add to the message i sent earlier i think your saxaphone is really cool. Did you ask for it to be made like that?
